Computer Aided Design Technician

Role Overview

Manley is seeking a Computer Aided Design Technician in Drogheda, Ireland to support drawing production and revision control within an in-house design environment.

Key Duties

• Create technical drawings using the company’s internal software.
• Update drawings based on given instructions and release revised versions as required.
• Communicate with factories, clients, and designers by phone or email to collect design information and secure comments or approvals for working drawings.
• Maintain CAD files, drawing logs, and issue records.
• Track workload and organise tasks by priority.
• Complete any other duties reasonably assigned by the Director.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in timber frame work is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with HSBcad is required.
• A qualification in Construction or Engineering is preferred.
• Experience with 2D AutoCAD and Revit is needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail, solid technical understanding, and good problem-solving ability are important.
• A clear understanding of current regulations is required.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Capability to manage deadlines and deliver work on time.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Drogheda, Ireland.
