About the Role
Sai Wine & Champagne Café in Accra is seeking a skilled Chef to join their team. This full-time, onsite position involves planning menus, preparing high-quality food, managing inventory, and ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of culinary duties, contributing to the overall success of the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director to plan menu offerings.
- Develop new recipes and prepare complex dishes as needed.
- Ensure all food preparation is completed at the beginning of each shift.
- Create a shopping budget and procure necessary ingredients at the start of business hours.
- Guarantee the quality of food and timely preparation.
- Maintain and update inventory records within the POS system.
- Track food waste and inventory levels accurately.
- Execute the preparation and cooking of various food items.
- Conduct regular checks on food inventory.
Additional Information
The salary offered is between GHC2,000 and GHC2,500 per month, commensurate with experience. Payment will be issued on the 15th of each month for the preceding calendar month. The work shift is from 4 PM to 12 AM. Candidates must reside in or near Osu, Labone, Labadi, Cantonments, or Teshi. A valid bank account, ID card, and SSNIT number are mandatory.
