About the Role
Beetexting is an expanding enterprise texting platform that helps organizations improve customer engagement, simplify communication, and achieve measurable results through conversational messaging. The company is hiring a seasoned outbound sales professional who has previously sold SaaS offerings to customers in the U.S. market and is comfortable creating opportunities from the ground up.
This position is not suited to someone who relies mainly on incoming leads. The ideal candidate is a true hunter who enjoys proactive outreach, starting conversations, and building a pipeline through structured sales activity. As the founding BDR, you will help define the outbound sales approach and have a direct impact on business growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Research target accounts and prospect potential customers.
- Run multi-channel outreach campaigns through calls, email, and LinkedIn.
- Connect with key decision-makers, uncover pain points, and create interest.
- Generate qualified opportunities for the Account Executive team.
- Re-engage inactive leads and stalled opportunities.
- Follow up strategically to turn prior interest into meetings.
- Evaluate prospect fit, timing, needs, and buying intent.
- Set up discovery calls and product demos with qualified prospects.
- Support a smooth transition of leads to the sales team.
- Maintain accurate CRM records in HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Track outreach, conversations, and follow-up actions.
- Work within established prospecting methods and sales playbooks.
Performance Expectations
- Complete 60–70 outbound calls each day.
- Maintain regular outreach through email and LinkedIn.
- Create meaningful conversations with target buyers.
- Secure at least 5 qualified meetings every week.
- Build and sustain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Meet or surpass monthly pipeline-generation goals.
Required Experience and Skills
The role calls for at least 3 years of outbound SaaS prospecting experience, particularly with U.S.-based customers. You should be confident in cold calling, handling objections, and communicating clearly in both spoken and written form. Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce is needed, along with familiarity with sales engagement and prospecting software. Availability to work U.S. business hours is required.
It will be an added advantage if you have sold communications, SMS, CPaaS, customer experience, or customer engagement solutions. Prior exposure to startup or fast-growing company environments is also beneficial.
