Bulk Store Process Operator

Role overview

APL Window Solutions is looking for a motivated person to join the Bulk Store team on the afternoon shift, working under the Bulk Store Manager. This position focuses on managing the movement of metal skips between INEX, the company’s extruder, and the warehouse. The work is varied, and the company provides ongoing training so the successful person can build a broad set of practical skills.

What the role involves

You will support warehouse operations by using a forklift when needed, moving product, changing skips, swapping jigs, and handling other related tasks as required. The role suits someone who is comfortable with hands-on work and can adapt to changing operational needs.

Shift details

This is an afternoon/night shift starting at 3:30 pm. Finish time changes depending on weekly operational requirements and may be as late as 2:30 am. Applicants must be confident that these hours fit their lifestyle and that they can work this schedule consistently.

Required experience and licences

Experience operating a forklift and a valid forklift certification are essential. An F endorsement would be an advantage, although training can be provided. Experience with a gantry crane is also preferred, and a US3800 qualification would be an added benefit. A full driver’s licence is required.

Reliable transport is also important.
