Role Overview
As Banquet Manager at Hilton in Doha, Qatar, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of banquet operations and help create memorable guest experiences through smooth, high-quality event service. This role is centered on coordinating banquet activities, maintaining service standards, and supporting a team that brings warmth, professionalism, and hospitality to every event.
What You Will Do
- Greet and assist guests with a positive, service-focused approach, always looking for ways to enhance their experience.
- Plan, coordinate, and run banquet events including breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas.
- Supervise the setup of function rooms so tables, linens, silverware, glassware, and chinaware match the event requirements and quality expectations.
- Share event details, procedures, and updates with teams across Food and Beverage, Event Services, Property Operations, Audio Visual, and Housekeeping.
- Monitor the breakdown of event spaces and make sure equipment is properly cleared and stored for future use.
- Lead, coach, and support team members while tracking performance and helping maintain a healthy, productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards to protect guests and team members.
