About the Role
We’re seeking an Application Developer - AI Trainer to contribute to the advancement of AI systems. You’ll join a large and expanding coding community of more than 100,000 professionals, including front-end, back-end, full-stack, machine learning, and other engineers, all working on practical AI use cases.
The work combines flexibility with technical challenge. You’ll collaborate with advanced AI models on programming tasks such as creating and solving complex coding problems, building feature-rich applications, and turning data into useful insights through analysis and visualization. Your output helps improve intelligent systems that continue to learn and adapt.
Some contributors use this work alongside another full-time role, while others make it their main focus and select projects and schedules based on their own availability and goals.
How the Selection Process Works
After creating an account, you’ll complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If you pass, you’ll receive confirmation by email, and paid tasks will then become available through the platform.
Responsibilities
- Create and solve a variety of coding challenges used to train AI models, with a particular focus on Android development.
- Produce clean code samples along with clear, detailed explanations.
- Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
- Share feedback that helps improve future AI model performance.
Qualifications
- Strong English fluency at a native or bilingual level.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Kotlin.
- Working proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
- Strong written communication and grammar skills.
- Bachelor’s degree completed or currently in progress.
- Prior experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is an advantage.
Contract Terms and Additional Information
This is an independent contractor arrangement, not a traditional employment position.
Work is available only to candidates in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Applicants outside these countries will not have access to assessments or available tasks.
Payment is processed through PayPal, and the platform will not request any money from you. Any currency conversion from USD will be handled by PayPal.
Compensation and Flexibility
Projects are paid hourly, with rates starting at $50–$100+ per hour and potentially higher for some assignments. You can choose the projects you want to take on and decide when to work. You also have the freedom to work from home on your own computer.
