Role Overview
The Brisbane studio is seeking a dependable and adaptable Office Administrator to help run day-to-day office operations. This part-time position supports facilities, administration, supplies, and employee assistance while working closely with the Office Integration Manager to keep the workplace efficient, compliant, and welcoming. The role also includes coordination of office services, events, onboarding support, correspondence, scheduling, travel, and inventory tasks.
Office Administration
- Partner with the Office Integration Manager to make the best use of workspace and support hybrid or flexible working arrangements.
- Track kitchen and office stock, approve or process invoices, and manage spending carefully.
- Obtain price quotes, deal with vendors and suppliers, and arrange pickups or deliveries when required.
- Help organize studio social and cultural activities such as fundraisers, staff milestone celebrations, and industry-related events.
- Coordinate the studio’s monthly lunch gathering.
- Oversee the upkeep of office facilities by organizing repairs, maintenance, and service visits with building management and outside contractors.
- Make sure the studio follows all relevant health, safety, and security rules.
General Administration
- Manage correspondence, calendars, databases, and travel bookings.
- Keep office inventory up to date and order supplies as needed.
- Support staff onboarding and training activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should bring at least 3 years of experience in an administrative position and hold an Australian driver’s licence. The role requires a flexible approach, with the ability to attend the office when needed to support operational, administrative, and team activities. Strong vendor handling and negotiation ability is important, along with clear communication and interpersonal skills for working with colleagues at all levels and with external partners. Candidates should also be comfortable using computers, learning new systems quickly, and ideally be familiar with Google Workspace tools such as Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Meet. Experience organizing small events is required, while experience in the video games industry and OHS/First Aid training are preferred.
