About the Role
Fota Island Resort is hiring for accommodation housekeeping positions within the resort. The team’s mission is to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences through high standards of service, quality, and attention to detail.
This role is based in Cobh, Ireland, and is part of the resort’s housekeeping operations.
Working Pattern
The right candidate should be able to work any shift across a seven-day schedule. Flexibility is important, as working hours may change depending on occupancy and business demand.
Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties independently and ensure the assigned area meets the company’s required standards.
- Restock rooms and lodges with guest amenities and supplies.
- Prepare beds.
- Clear away used linens and any room service items left behind.
- Remove dust, polish surfaces, and clean marks from walls and furniture.
- Clean and vacuum lobbies and other shared public areas.
Requirements
- Strong command of English.
- Ability to adapt to varying hours based on occupancy and guest demand.
- Careful attention to detail.
- Good organisational and interpersonal ability.
- Well-presented appearance.
- Positive, proactive, and can-do attitude.
