Academic Researcher (Remote)

Role Overview

This is a remote, part-time contract opportunity for language professionals who can support the training and assessment of AI language models. The position is fully home-based and designed for flexible scheduling. It is well suited to people with experience in writing, teaching, translation, tutoring, linguistics, or other language-focused work.

Key Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated content and judge it for correctness, fluency, and overall quality.
• Create brief prompts and original responses that help improve AI training.
• Compare model outputs and rank them against defined evaluation standards.
• Provide clear written comments on language use and output quality.

Candidate Profile

• You should be fluent in both your target language and English.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, especially in humanities, languages, writing, or a related field.
• Applicants should have professional language-related experience such as writing, teaching, translation, editing, annotation, or similar work.
• Strong accuracy, careful reading, and the ability to follow assessment instructions are important.
• Experience in linguistics, academic writing, data annotation, or AI content evaluation will be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Work Style

The role offers pay of up to 29 USD per hour, with weekly payouts. It is fully remote, allows you to work from any location, and gives you the flexibility to choose your own hours. This is a part-time contract role that may serve as a main income source or an additional one.
