Pay and benefits

The starting hourly wage is €16.05 gross, plus overtime pay. A current transport subsidy of up to €58 net per month is available through the job ticket. Pay increases are scheduled after 12 months of service, with the rate currently set at €16.35 gross per hour, and again after 24 months, currently €18.09 gross per hour. You will also receive 28 days of vacation based on a standard 5-day working week, along with additional benefits.

Your work

This position is a fixed-term role with structured shifts, including early and late shifts or night shifts. The job covers loading and unloading trucks, storing and picking products, handling items up to 23 kg, using pallet trucks, and, after internal training if needed, operating forklifts. You will also work with Amazon’s warehouse management system and handheld scanners, while following internal procedures and operational standards. In some cases, you may need to move products weighing up to 120 kg using provided equipment.

Experience and training

No previous logistics experience is required, as training will be provided on the job. Amazon welcomes applicants who are new to warehouse work and offers both full-time and part-time opportunities.

What helps you succeed

You may find the role easier if you have worked previously in warehouse operations, picking, packing, sorting, logistics, or forklift-related work. Experience in production, retail, sales, trade, hospitality, or the food industry can also be useful. The role suits people who are motivated, comfortable with physical tasks, and willing to work shifts and/or overtime. German and/or English language ability is helpful.
