Role overview
This opportunity is with a well-known global beauty business based in New York City. The position focuses on strengthening brand operations, improving supply chain performance, and working closely with teams across the organization to support business goals.
The role is for a Supply Chain Manager supporting the global Makeup and RN (Regional/Brand) business. It requires someone who can operate effectively in a fast-moving, cross-functional setting, balance multiple priorities, and keep brand operations running smoothly.
Work location and schedule
- Location: GM Building, New York City, Manhattan, NY
- Work arrangement: Fully onsite
- Workdays: Monday through Friday
- Working hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Weekly hours: 37.5
Assignment details
- Temporary assignment lasting 6 months
- W2 contract only
- Hourly pay range: $40.00 to $50.00
Key responsibilities
- Support Global and Regional Brand teams within the Makeup and RN business in meeting strategic objectives.
- Resolve supply chain challenges in areas such as product quality, customer service, cost control, inventory, compliance, and reformulation.
- Work with regional leaders and supply chain partners to spot risks, shape solutions, and carry out action plans.
- Act as a central coordinator for Brand Operations to keep initiatives aligned and moving forward.
- Build, update, and share operational reports, dashboards, and leadership updates.
- Track supply chain performance indicators and identify ways to improve processes.
- Partner with teams across Brand Marketing, Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Planning, and Customer Service.
- Handle several projects at once while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Contribute to operational programs that improve service levels, inventory health, and overall supply chain results.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, operations, brand operations, or demand planning.
- Background in beauty, cosmetics, consumer packaged goods, or a similar industry is preferred.
- Experience supporting global and regional teams in a complex matrix organization.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain areas such as planning, inventory, customer service, quality, and regulatory workflows.
- Strong project management and organization capabilities.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP platforms and reporting tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior involvement in product launches and reformulation projects is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders in global teams.
