Role overview
This full-time Human Resources Supervisor position is based in Doha, Qatar, and supports employee-relations operations, HR administration, and day-to-day coordination across the team. The role sits within a luxury hospitality environment and focuses on maintaining policy compliance, supporting leadership, and helping deliver a high standard of associate experience.
Key duties
- Monitor employee-relations matters, support their resolution, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Work with management and leadership to handle and resolve HR-related issues.
- Make sure hiring and recruitment activities align with local, state, federal, and company policies and standards.
- Keep HR leadership informed about employee-relations concerns.
- Respond to employee and manager questions, requests, and concerns about company HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Share information with employees about employer-employee relations, employee activities, and staff policies and programs.
- Review and maintain employee records and files accurately, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Help coordinate, administer, and organize the annual employee survey process.
- Answer phone calls and take messages.
- Support management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance review, coaching, discipline, motivation, and employee development.
- Follow all company safety and security procedures and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
- Protect confidential and proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests in line with company standards.
- Communicate clearly and professionally and answer telephones using the correct protocol.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to coworkers’ concerns.
- Enter and retrieve job-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
- Handle physical tasks that may require moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Desired qualifications
Applicants should have a high school diploma or an equivalent GED qualification. At least 1 year of related work experience is needed, along with at least 1 year of supervisory experience. No license or certification is required.
