Role Overview

This position is based in Plymouth and involves supporting the delivery of a major project by working in close coordination with managers, engineers, commercial staff, subcontractors, and client contacts. The role is focused on keeping site activities aligned with programme targets, quality expectations, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise clearly and regularly with site leadership, technical teams, commercial personnel, planners, engineers, site operatives, suppliers, and client-side representatives.
• Support the maintenance of strong health, safety, and environmental performance across the project.
• Track progress against the programme, spot delays or gaps early, and help put corrective actions in place.
• Check that Inspection & Test Plans and associated checklists are prepared, available, and properly followed.
• Keep accurate daily site logs and diary records to a high standard.

Required Background

• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS certification.
• Experience working in a similar setting.
• The ability to obtain BPSS/SC clearance.
