Role overview
An elite fintech business is looking for an SRE / Linux Platform Engineer to help manage and improve a low-latency Linux environment. The position blends hands-on Linux systems engineering with site reliability responsibilities, with a strong focus on automation and scalable platform support.
What you will do
You will design, build, and maintain automated solutions that support scalable deployment across both private and public cloud environments. The role covers both project work and day-to-day operational support, with a constant emphasis on automating repetitive tasks wherever possible.
Key technical requirements
The ideal candidate should be confident working with Linux-based systems and automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible. Experience with container platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman is also important, along with CI/CD pipelines and Python scripting.
Desirable experience
Additional exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Pulumi, or Bicep would be beneficial. Familiarity with disaster recovery, block or blob storage, and high-performance computing environments would also be an advantage.

This role is based in Singapore and can be carried out in a hybrid working setup.
