Role Overview
Tata Consultancy Services is hiring an experienced ServiceNow Developer focused on ITAM and ITOM. This position requires deep, hands-on expertise in building and supporting ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise IT service management and operational needs.

What the role involves
- Build, configure, and tailor ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations to meet business requirements.
- Support core ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
- Work on ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
- Support ITAM activities such as asset lifecycle management, software license compliance, and optimization.
- Set up and maintain Discovery schedules, diagnose Discovery failures, and manage MID Servers.
- Implement Service Mapping and create patterns for custom applications and devices.
- Ensure CI data is populated correctly in CMDB and maintain its overall health and quality.
- Define Identification and Reconciliation rules, fix duplicate CI records, and manage CI relationships.
- Carry out CMDB reviews, audits, and cleanup activities.
- Configure Event Rules, alert correlation, aggregation, and suppression.
- Integrate third-party monitoring tools and infrastructure platforms.
- Implement Predictive AIOps and create automated remediation flows.
- Enable cloud discovery and improve visibility of cloud resources.
- Develop orchestration workflows and automate infrastructure-related tasks.
- Write and maintain scripts and configurations using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, UI Policies, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Use JavaScript and Glide APIs for platform customization.
- Build REST and SOAP APIs, configure IntegrationHub spokes, and manage import and transform data processes.
- Handle production break/fix incidents, perform root cause analysis, and support upgrades and patching activities.
- Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot MID Server connectivity issues.
Must-have experience
- At least 6 years of practical ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong exposure to ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules.
- Hands-on knowledge of Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, event management, and related integrations.
- Ability to work on production support, issue resolution, and platform maintenance.
Education requirement
The candidate should have completed 15 years of full-time education. A minimum of 50% marks is required in 10th, 12th, UG, and PG levels, where applicable.
