Procurement Operations

Overview

This is a fixed-term opportunity for a period of two years. The role is based onsite in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India and focuses on day-to-day procurement execution and transaction support.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sample purchase orders for multiple locations.
• Maintain SBLC scrolls and the supporting records tied to them.
• Manage advance-payment paperwork, obtain the necessary approvals, and process them in the system.
• Handle service-related payments through internal tools such as ZDMS.
• Create ASN and JMS entries according to business needs.
• Follow up consistently to ensure GRNs are completed and closed.
• Update daily trackers covering payments and logistics activity.
• Work with suppliers on order acknowledgements, shipment status, and any outstanding actions.

Education and Experience

The preferred qualification is BE/BTech, ideally in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics. The role calls for 3 to 6 years of experience in purchase or procurement execution, along with prior exposure to procurement operations or other transactional support functions. A sound understanding of procurement and P2P processes is required.

Skills and Working Requirements

Strong coordination, persistent follow-up, and a detail-oriented approach are important for success in this role. Candidates should be comfortable working with MS Excel and the SAP MM module.
