Master Schedule Planner

About the RoleABB is looking for a Master Schedule Planner to support planning and fulfillment activities at the Nashik location within the Electrification business, Distribution Solutions division. In this position, you will contribute to improving performance across the supply chain by strengthening planning processes, tools, and capabilities that support customer service and operational efficiency.The role reports to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager and is based in Greater Nashik Area, India.Key ResponsibilitiesKeep inventory at the right levels, aligned with business targets and customer service expectations.Maintain inventory control processes for finished goods, semi-finished goods, and/or raw materials in accordance with company standards.Carry out routine and special analyses of planning and fulfillment indicators such as Days Inventory on Hand, on-time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy, and resource use.Identify the main causes of underperformance and lead improvement actions across functions.Role RequirementsA full-time degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering is required.At least 5 to 8 years of experience in production planning, material planning, forecasting, and inventory control.Practical experience working with cross-functional teams for customer inspections, including FAT.Strong working knowledge of SAP MM and SAP PP transactional processes.Understanding of MV/LV/HV switchgear, including mechanical areas such as sheet metal, fabrication, moulding, casting, and forging, as well as electrical components like transformers, relays, switches, and meters.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.About ABBABB develops technologies that help industries operate more efficiently and sustainably.
