This office-based position in Worcester is for a coordination professional who can keep multiple installation projects moving smoothly in a busy, fast-changing environment. The position involves overseeing the full installation process from the point of sale through to completion, making sure each project stays on schedule, customers are kept informed, and issues are handled quickly and effectively. A typical service-level target is around 10 days, so the role suits someone who can stay calm, organised, and decisive under pressure.
Working hours and location
Location: Worcester, office-based.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 04:30pm.
Salary and leave
Salary range: £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.
Holiday entitlement: 22 days plus statutory holidays.
Key duties
- Oversee a large number of installation projects at the same time, ensuring each one progresses efficiently.
- Serve as the main contact point between customers, engineers, and internal departments.
- Organise logistics, schedules, and resource planning for installations.
- Spot risks early and act promptly to keep projects on track.
- Keep tight turnaround times, including the usual 10-day SLA target.
- Manage the full lifecycle of installation work, from order handover through to final completion.
- Work with customers and contractors to confirm site readiness and reduce the risk of unsuccessful installations.
- Coordinate closely with sales, workshop, warehouse, and engineering teams.
- Plan engineer schedules and track installation timelines across several live projects.
- Keep trackers, records, and system updates accurate and current.
- Monitor stock levels and raise coordination needs with procurement when required.
- Handle pre-installation and post-installation communication, including debriefs to support quality outcomes.
