Role overview
This organisation is seeking a proactive Front-End Developer to join its technical team in Blackburn. The position follows a hybrid working pattern and focuses on shaping, building, and improving scalable web applications and digital platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Set the direction for front-end structure and establish development standards based on industry best practice.
- Develop secure, long-lasting codebases with React and TypeScript.
- Work closely with product, leadership, and marketing stakeholders to deliver aligned solutions.
- Support and coach junior developers, including carrying out code reviews.
- Manage API integrations and contribute to performance improvements across the platform.
Experience and skills needed
- Proven background in front-end web development.
- Hands-on experience working with React.
- Ability to design scalable front-end architectures.
- Strong understanding of component-based design and state management.
- Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with UX design in Figma would be an advantage.
