About the role

  • Help prepare event spaces before activities begin and clear them down afterwards

  • Improve the visitor experience by assisting with activities and event delivery
  • Support a range of events such as Airfix Model 2 Club sessions, school holiday workshops, the Barnet Food Festival, the annual paper aeroplane contest, and other large commercial events
  • Process any same-day sales linked to events
  • Guide and assist Event Maker volunteers during event operations
  • Protect visitors, colleagues, and museum property by following security procedures and responding appropriately to heightened incident measures
