Estimation Engineer

Role overview

This is a full-time Estimation Engineer position based on site in Dubai. The role focuses on pricing and estimating interior fit-out work for projects in commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use sectors.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, quantity take-offs, and pricing proposals. The job also involves checking drawings and project specifications, collecting and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations, and working with project teams to resolve scope-related questions.

Additional duties include supporting tender submissions, spotting opportunities for value engineering, and revising estimates whenever design changes occur.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in estimating and pricing interior fit-out projects. A background in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a similar discipline is required.

Strong analytical ability, negotiation skills, and clear communication are important for this position. Proficiency in MS Excel is expected, and experience with estimation software will be considered an added advantage. Prior work experience in UAE interior fit-out projects is also required.
