Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join on an initial 3 to 6 month contract. The position is centered on pulling information from older systems, reshaping and standardising datasets, and creating reports and visual outputs that help guide business decisions.
The role will support the organisation as it moves toward an SAP S/4HANA-based environment. You will work alongside business stakeholders to turn fragmented and unstructured data into insights that are practical and easy to act on. This is well suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple systems and delivering useful reporting solutions in a fast-moving setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect data from legacy platforms and other data sources.
- Review, clean, reformat, and organise data so it is consistent and usable.
- Assist with the transition to an SAP S/4HANA-based environment.
- Maintain strong data accuracy and integrity throughout analysis work.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualisations that clearly present business information.
- Convert complex datasets into insights that stakeholders can understand and use.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis for operational and strategic needs.
- Partner with business users to understand reporting needs and provide effective solutions.
- Explain findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work with internal teams to improve data access and reporting workflows.
- Look for ways to simplify data processes and reporting methods.
- Contribute ideas that strengthen data quality and analytical capability.
- Stay informed about current best practices in data analytics and visualisation.
Requirements
- Prior experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience extracting, cleansing, transforming, and analysing data from multiple systems.
- Strong ability to build visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Good knowledge of SQL and Excel.
- Exposure to Python or other analytical tools would be an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems is expected; familiarity with SAP or SAP S/4HANA is helpful but not mandatory.
- Ability to understand business needs and turn data into clear, practical recommendations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience across different industries is welcome.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience is not required.
- Comfortable working independently and delivering in a fast-paced environment.
- This role starts as an onsite position and later moves to a hybrid working arrangement.
- Initial contract length is 3 to 6 months.
- Start is expected as soon as possible.
