Role overview

Sytner Harold Wood is seeking a reliable and upbeat Aftersales Driver to support its BMW and MINI customer experience. The role is based around collecting vehicles from customers’ homes, transporting them to the dealership, and returning them afterwards while delivering a courteous, professional service throughout.

You will keep customers informed with estimated arrival times by phone, share progress updates, and make sure every interaction reflects a warm welcome and high service standards. A key part of the position is building genuine rapport with customers so they feel well looked after even when they are not visiting the showroom.

This is a full-time on-site position and will usually involve weekend working to help maintain service levels.

What the role involves

• Collect and return customer vehicles between homes and the dealership.
• Provide attentive, friendly, and professional customer support at every stage.
• Call customers with expected arrival times and update them as needed.
• Greet customers in a polished and welcoming manner on arrival.
• Check each vehicle carefully before driving to ensure it is safe to use.
• Identify any marks, blemishes, or damage on vehicles before transport.
• Plan multiple drop-offs efficiently and stay organised throughout the day.
• Use strong local knowledge and navigation skills to complete journeys smoothly.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant will be punctual, enthusiastic, and comfortable representing a premium automotive brand. Previous experience in a premium environment or familiarity with the automotive sector would be helpful, though it is not required.

Strong attention to detail, good organisation, and the ability to manage several journeys efficiently are essential. Familiarity with the local area and confident navigation will also be an advantage.
