Assistant Store Manager

Role Overview

This position is a full-time, in-store leadership role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Assistant Store Manager will support day-to-day store performance, team effectiveness, customer experience, and operational standards for a beauty retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and retain a high-performing store team capable of delivering a strong customer experience.
• Oversee store operations so sales goals and operational KPIs are met in alignment with brand direction.
• Track sales results, review performance trends, and prepare reports with insights that help improve stock productivity.
• Coach the sales team regularly to strengthen service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Work directly on the sales floor and lead by example through active, hands-on selling support.
• Maintain adequate staffing to meet business needs, including preparing schedules and ensuring shift coverage.
• Plan ahead for seasonal demand and special trading periods when creating forecasts and staff rosters.
• Support marketing initiatives and in-store events by staying closely aligned with regional management.
• Manage inventory and stock availability to keep store operations running smoothly.
• Ensure operational practices remain compliant with regional standards, local regulations, and ongoing training requirements for frontline staff.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring proven retail management experience from the GCC beauty sector, along with a strong record of meeting customer service and sales targets. Experience in retail operations, including inventory control, facilities oversight, and cash reconciliation, is important. The role also calls for excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strong commercial judgment, and fluency in both English and Arabic.
