Fundraising Internship (Work From Home, Part Time)

About the internship

This part-time remote internship is focused on fundraising and community outreach for Odisha Development Management Programme (ODMP). The selected intern will help run a short charity campaign, support awareness efforts, and keep clear records of daily activity and collections.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out a 7-day charity drive to help generate funds for ODMP’s social initiatives.
• Share information that builds awareness about the difficulties experienced by marginalized communities.
• Track outreach activity each day and maintain accurate notes on funds raised.
• Support charity-drive tasks and contribute to ongoing welfare campaigns led by the organization.

Who can apply

Applications are open only to candidates who can work remotely, are able to begin anytime between 9 June 2026 and 14 July 2026, and can commit for 1 week. Applicants should have relevant skills and interest in the role. Women looking to begin or resume their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Stipend

The internship offers a performance-linked stipend of INR 400 to 1,800 per week, depending on the funds raised and overall contribution during the internship.

About ODMP

Odisha Development Management Programme (ODMP) is a registered collective of grassroots NGOs, environmentalists, and academicians that emerged from civic action following the post-super-cyclone period in Odisha in 1999. ODMP began its work in Puri district in 2001, when 51 NGOs from 11 blocks joined as partners of UNICEF and the Rural Development department of the Government of Odisha to support the district’s water and sanitation programme. The organisation successfully delivered the programme from 2001-02 to 2003-04 as the district nodal agency and earned recognition at both state and national levels.

In 2005, ODMP broadened its work across other districts of Odisha in development and environmental areas. One of its notable initiatives is Nirmal Srikhetra Aviyan, a Puri city environmental campaign for solid and hospital waste management, supported by UNDP-SGP-GEF and GIZ and implemented with ODMP’s leadership along with RKS, the district headquarters hospital in Puri.
