Role overview

This is a remote contract opportunity for writers and authors in Canada. The role is structured as part-time work with a weekly commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours. Compensation is set at $49 to $61 per hour.

What you will do

• Review and refine AI-produced writing so it is clear, accurate, and aligned with style standards.
• Create and improve training content and datasets that help AI models produce stronger narrative flow and better language quality.
• Work alongside data science and machine learning teams by sharing feedback that can be used to improve training cycles.
• Spot recurring issues in AI outputs and use those insights to help raise model quality and reduce mistakes.
• Research modern writing practices and current trends to guide AI training approaches.
• Share findings and suggestions clearly with both technical teams and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Demonstrated background as a writer, author, editor, or similar professional, supported by a solid portfolio of published work.
• Strong command of written and spoken communication, with a sharp eye for detail and subtle meaning.
• Comfort using AI tools, machine learning tools, or digital content creation platforms.
• Ability to assess, revise, and strengthen both short-form and long-form content.
• Well-developed organization, analysis, and time-management skills, especially in a remote working setup.
