Job description

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational activities associated with Coiled Tubing within Oilfield Services. The objective is to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery while maintaining equipment integrity and safety standards.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage and direct the activities of service and technical teams through effective personnel assignments, project management, and administrative support.
  • Ensure all Coiled Tubing equipment is maintained in optimal condition for service delivery, maximizing its operational lifespan.
  • Conduct quality assurance, quality control, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) inspections and audits for both equipment and job sites.
  • Analyze non-conformance reports and equipment maintenance records to identify issues and recommend or implement corrective actions.
  • Review and validate all relevant operational documentation, providing recommendations to the Coiled Tubing Team Leader for procedural enhancements to uphold quality standards.
  • Engage with customers at their locations and offices, participating in scheduled meetings to foster strong relationships and address operational needs.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of non-conformances and their underlying causes, diligently tracking and closing out any outstanding issues.
  • Monitor the daily progress of ongoing jobs and projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to field personnel to support their tasks and development.
  • Adhere strictly to all codes of practice set forth by UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling, and client Asset Integrity Management.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is the minimum educational requirement.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in oilfield operations is required.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications is essential.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply advanced skills and knowledge to recognize and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
