About the Role
Ryder is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Problem Solver to join their team in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. This full-time, onsite position offers competitive weekly pay and a structured schedule. You will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse operations by resolving discrepancies and conducting audits. The role involves handling retail items using equipment such as computers and RF scan guns. Responsibilities
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Perform audits on both incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Assist with physical inventories as required.
- Offer support to supervisors and associates on the warehouse floor regarding inventory matters.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), with a strong focus on safety.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy to meet customer demands.
- Undertake other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- At least one year of experience operating forklift equipment is preferred.
- One year or more of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) is preferred.
- May require equipment certification depending on the specific location.
- Must be able to recognize and read location, date, and product codes.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and a drive to excel.
- Skilled in multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up practices.
