Role overview
Team Global Express New Zealand provides freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and broad logistics support to customers across the country, from Kaitaia to Invercargill. With freight volumes rising, the business is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join its Logistics team in Otahuhu.
This is a weekday role working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

About the role
The Warehouse Operator will play a key part in handling freight safely, efficiently, and on time so delivery targets are met without damage. The ideal person will bring a positive attitude, energy, reliability, and a strong customer-focused mindset, along with the ability to contribute well in a team environment.
Key duties
- Handle loading and unloading of freight in a safe and secure manner.
- Support branch performance by scanning freight accurately and efficiently using On-time.
- Check that all freight paperwork and accompanying documents are complete.
- Keep health and safety front of mind and operate all material handling equipment safely and competently.
- Communicate clearly and work well with others in the team.
What you will bring
To be considered for this position, you should be a strong team player with prior experience operating reach and counterbalance forklifts. You will also need the following:
- An OSH-approved forklift certificate.
- Hands-on experience with counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks.
- Previous experience in freight or logistics.
- A solid commitment to health and safety.
- Experience using RF scanners.
- Ideas for improving the movement of inbound and outbound goods.
