This organization is a rapidly expanding provider of logistics and supply chain solutions serving markets across North America and Latin America. Its core work includes cross-border e-commerce fulfillment, warehouse management, and freight coordination.
Role Overview
The company is looking for a practical, on-the-floor Warehouse Manager to run day-to-day operations at its Atlanta location. The position focuses on keeping inbound and outbound workflows efficient, maintaining accurate inventory records, and leading the warehouse team in a high-volume fulfillment setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily warehouse work such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatching shipments.
- Make sure orders are fulfilled on time and that shipments leave with the correct items.
- Track workflow and improve operational throughput where possible.
- Lead warehouse personnel, including both permanent and temporary staff.
- Handle recruitment, onboarding, training, shift scheduling, and performance oversight.
- Promote productivity and accountability across all shifts.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and periodic audits.
- Review inventory mismatches, determine root causes, and apply corrective measures.
- Keep stock organized and properly tracked at all times.
- Spot operational bottlenecks and introduce improvements to existing processes.
- Create, update, and enforce standard operating procedures for warehouse activities.
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to support growth and scale workflows.
- Ensure adherence to safety rules and internal policies.
- Support a safe workplace by conducting safety training and monitoring equipment and facility conditions.
- Work closely with transportation, customer service, and operations teams to keep everyone aligned.
- Escalate delays, shortages, and other risks that could affect service.
- Support customer commitments and service level agreements.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in warehouse or fulfillment operations.
- Prior exposure to e-commerce, 3PL, or logistics environments is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage people effectively.
- Working knowledge of WMS platforms and warehouse performance metrics.
- Experience handling large-scale, high-volume fulfillment activity.
- Bilingual ability is preferred.
- Background in startup or fast-growing business environments is preferred.
