Role overview

Aquent is recruiting a Visual Designer for a globally known company in entertainment and technology. The role sits at the intersection of visual design and user experience, helping shape immersive digital and physical products that reach a very large audience. You will work with a collaborative team to turn creative ideas into polished, production-ready experiences.

What you'll do

  • Use a broad set of design skills to support digital product design from early concepts through final release.
  • Produce sketches, detailed wireframes, digital artwork, and polished graphics across multiple visual styles.
  • Partner with product, technology, and other cross-functional teams to clarify project scope and design needs.
  • Build on existing visual systems for current products while keeping work aligned with design standards and evolving patterns.
  • Help raise the overall bar for design quality and innovation across the team.
  • Present visual concepts and design explorations confidently to managers, principals, and executive stakeholders.
  • Prepare and hand off production-ready assets accurately and efficiently.
  • Take part in critiques, brainstorming sessions, and project kickoffs, contributing thoughtful input and feedback.
  • Create content for interactive devices and support engaging digital experiences.

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of professional design experience in branded campaigns, commerce, hospitality, or large-scale experience design.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates range, strong illustration ability, and persuasive visual storytelling in multiple styles.
  • Hands-on experience designing products with a user-centered mindset.
  • Strong grounding in visual and art fundamentals, including 2D design, layout, composition, color, and animation.
  • Excellent creative problem-solving ability and strong artistic sensibility.
  • Proficiency with vector illustration tools, image editing software, and modern prototyping and collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to create interactive prototypes.
  • Strong speaking skills for presenting ideas clearly and professionally.
  • Solid writing skills.
  • Comfort with structured design thinking when approaching complex problems.
  • An inclusive design perspective that reflects varied user and project needs.
  • A proactive, positive attitude and a self-driven work style.
  • Dependable, passionate, receptive to creative feedback, and detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Strong team orientation and consistent communication habits.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

Experience with additional prototyping tools is a plus.
