Job description

About Fridays

Fridays is a rapidly expanding telehealth company specializing in science-backed treatments for TRT, weight loss, longevity, and peptides. Our creative team plays a crucial role in introducing the brand to new audiences through engaging social media, performance advertising, and authentic content.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to manage the post-production process for our paid social, organic, and user-generated content (UGC) streams. You will collaborate closely with our creative director, copywriters, and performance marketers to transform raw footage and creator content into high-performing advertisements and brand-building content. This role demands a high volume of work, adherence to high standards, and significant creative autonomy.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit short-form video content tailored for paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube), organic channels, and lifecycle marketing (email, SMS, landing pages).
  • Transform UGC and creator footage into platform-native advertisements designed to capture attention and drive conversions.
  • Collaborate with copy and creative teams on concept development, pacing, and hook strategies.
  • Develop multiple variations of ads for A/B testing, including different hooks, lengths, calls-to-action, and aspect ratios.
  • Independently manage project files, maintain version control, and organize assets.
  • Work closely with the performance marketing team to refine content based on performance data.

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional video editing experience.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing social-first content, preferably UGC, paid social, or short-form video.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the complete Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A keen understanding of pacing, effective hooks, and editing styles suitable for various platforms.
  • Ability to work efficiently at a fast pace while maintaining high-quality craft.
  • A self-starter attitude, capable of taking a brief and executing independently.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with motion graphics using After Effects.
  • Previous experience editing for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), telehealth, or wellness brands.
  • Skills in color grading and sound design.
