Role Overview

Atlas Distribution Co. is seeking a Video Editor to join its onsite team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The position is centered on shaping video content to the required duration and technical specifications, while ensuring output is suitable for digital distribution.

Core Duties

• Edit video footage to match the intended length, style, and delivery requirements.
• Manage, sort, and maintain both raw footage and completed video assets.
• Prepare final video exports and support distribution across mobile and web platforms.
• Capture video footage and create content when needed.
• Develop alternate edits and creative variations to explore different presentation directions.
• Maintain alignment with strong journalism and editorial standards in all outputs.
• Reformat videos and adjust file sizes to suit different platforms and use cases.

Experience and Technical Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in video editing and post-production is required.
• Working knowledge of non-linear editing tools and related software is essential.
• Hands-on experience with Edius, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Lightroom is expected.
• Good understanding of digital content trends and editing fundamentals is important.
• The role calls for creativity, innovation, and strong organizational ability.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in the same field is required.
