About the role
Dear Media is seeking a talented Video Creator to produce engaging social-first video content for its shows and brand presence. The role focuses on developing strategic videos for a wide range of platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Stories, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, TikTok, and other paid and organic channels.
What you'll do
- Partner with teams across the company to deliver polished video assets for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand-led moments across social and paid media.
- Shape video ideas that strengthen audience connection, brand advocacy, and educational messaging.
- Create and refine compelling social video content every day.
- Handle several edits at once, taking projects from post-production through final delivery while staying on schedule.
- Take part in brainstorming sessions focused on video direction and social strategy, and suggest fresh ways to cut and repurpose incoming or existing footage.
- Prepare sponsored branded-content edits with multiple required versions.
- Use graphic templates creatively and integrate them smoothly into video content.
- Coordinate with the team to make the best use of available resources and improve output efficiency.
- Work with colleagues to spot strong, high-potential moments worth turning into content.
- Track trends closely and apply relevant ideas to deliverables.
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite and a solid understanding of video best practices across different social platforms.
- Comfort working on multiple projects simultaneously under fast deadlines.
- Background in producing daily social video content, including filming and creative planning in fast-moving environments.
- Strong grasp of how to make short-form content effective for specific audiences and platforms.
- Practical knowledge of platform-specific video execution, including sequencing, keyframing, and caption graphics.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to operate a full-frame DSLR camera, work with manual settings, and monitor audio.
- Working knowledge of cameras and related production gear.
Software and technical tools
- Google Workspace tools such as email, Docs, and Calendar are essential.
- Photoshop experience is preferred.
- Adobe Premiere and After Effects experience is valued, with video and audio capability considered a plus.
- Pro Tools knowledge is required.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience uploading content to a podcast hosting platform.
