Role overview
This position is for a UK payroll specialist based in Hyderabad, with an additional location mentioned in Mumbai. The role focuses on end-to-end payroll operations for UK clients, compliance filings, pension administration, and regular communication with customers to collect missing information and resolve queries.
Key responsibilities
- Set up a new PAYE registration with HMRC and arrange pension scheme registration with the pension provider.
- Handle client communication for questions, clarifications, document collection, and data follow-ups.
- Run complete payroll across different pay frequencies and submit RTI returns, including FPS, Additional FPS, and EPS, with the correct Employment Allowance checkbox where applicable.
- Prepare and submit CIS returns, then follow up with clients every month to obtain CIS data, including CIS to Pay and CIS Suffered details.
- Manage pension submissions, including uploading contribution data, filing declaration of compliance, and re-declaration of compliance.
- Submit P11D forms.
- Review payroll records and identify mismatches against HMRC records, including PAYE reconciliation issues.
- Chase clients by email when requested information has not yet been received.
- Send acknowledgement replies when a request will take longer than usual so the client knows the message is being handled.
Candidate profile
- Strong command of spoken, written, and read English is essential.
- Ability to manage an individual client portfolio independently.
- At least 1 year of UK payroll experience is required.
- Graduate qualification is mandatory.
Work details
This is a full-time, on-site day-shift position. Working hours are 10:30 am to 7:30 pm. The salary offered is INR 30,000 to INR 40,000 per month. The role is open for Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and Mumbai is also mentioned as a work location.
