About the role

We are hiring a Treasury Analyst to help manage day-to-day treasury functions and support overall liquidity and banking operations. The position focuses on keeping cash movements accurate, strengthening financial controls, preparing treasury-related reporting, and working closely with banks and internal teams. The ideal candidate should be highly detail-focused, comfortable with financial data, and able to handle treasury processes with accuracy and sound judgment.

Key responsibilities

  • Track daily bank activity and complete monthly reconciliations for bank accounts.
  • Review cash balances and liquidity levels to help ensure business needs are funded on time.
  • Prepare and post treasury journal entries with accuracy and within required timelines.
  • Contribute to cash forecasts, budgeting exercises, and liquidity planning.
  • Follow internal control requirements, treasury policies, and finance procedures.
  • Support treasury-related internal and external audits, along with reporting requests.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
  • Handle payments, transfers, and fund movements according to company guidelines.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual treasury reports and analyses.
  • Help refine and implement treasury policies and operating procedures.
  • Assist with foreign exchange activities, hedging tasks, and risk management work.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances linked to treasury activity and resolve any differences.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience in treasury, finance, accounting, or a similar role.
  • Good understanding of cash management, banking operations, and financial controls.
  • Experience with treasury management systems and ERP tools is an added advantage.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting applications.
  • Exposure to foreign exchange transactions and hedging instruments will be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical thinking, organization, and problem-solving ability.
