Role overview

This trainee position at Aditya Birla Capital is focused on investment accounting and portfolio valuation work. Key work areas

• Handle the accounting of debt investments with accuracy and within the required timelines.
• Support valuation activities for portfolios and assist in calculating and declaring NAV across different funds.
• Manage equity trade settlement on STEADY, including custody and broker confirmations, along with related valuation across portfolios.
• Coordinate with equity brokers, dealers, and custody teams to close trade settlements smoothly.
• Monitor, record, and account for corporate actions.
• Ensure precise and timely accounting and valuation of investments in Alternate Investment Funds.
• Maintain strong accuracy and promptness in settlement, accounting, and valuation work, especially where systems and assets are complex.

Candidate profile

The preferred background includes CA qualification or semi-qualified CA experience aligned to investments, fund accounting, or related financial operations.
