About the role
The Territory Manager for Used 2-Wheeler Loans will be responsible for generating and managing loan business through DSAs, DSTs, and existing channel partners. The position is centered on growing a strong-quality loan book while staying aligned with internal standards and regulatory expectations. It also involves guiding a team, strengthening market relationships, and supporting business expansion in a way that balances sales growth with risk control.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage business flow through DSAs, DSTs, and other market-facing channels.
- Bring in new customers and sustain healthy loan disbursement numbers.
- Protect portfolio quality by reducing delinquency and limiting rejections.
- Track, support, and steer channel partners so their activities stay aligned with business targets.
- Keep current on retail asset offerings, operational workflows, and market developments.
- Observe changing market conditions and shape channel and customer-acquisition plans accordingly.
- Work strictly within internal policies, operating procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Suggest refinements in sales processes and credit policy to improve efficiency and customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver smooth service and stronger customer satisfaction.
- Help increase sourcing through strategic alliances and direct channels.
Education
A graduate degree in any discipline is required. An MBA or PGDM is preferred.
Experience
At least 2 years of relevant experience in retail lending is expected, ideally in used 2-wheeler loans or a similar asset-backed financing domain.
Skills and attributes
The role calls for strong retail lending knowledge, a solid grasp of credit operations, and excellent English communication skills. It also requires channel-management capability, business development drive, negotiation ability, relationship-building strength, analytical thinking, risk awareness, leadership, coordination across teams, and a high commitment to ethics and compliance.
