Role Overview

This is a temporary, remote position for a Data Entry Clerk. The work is seasonal and may increase during hurricane season or other spikes in claim volume. It is suited to candidates looking for flexible short-term employment, with the possibility of moving into a full-time role for strong performers. The role involves entering and checking claim data accurately, supporting claims workflow, and completing assigned tasks on time. The position pays $11 per hour and offers experience in a large global environment focused on development and service.

Qualifications

  • A secondary school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • Previous exposure to data entry, retail, transcription, or customer service work is preferred.
  • A dependable high-speed internet connection is necessary.
  • Candidates must have a personal computer or laptop using Windows 10 or 11; Mac and Chromebook systems are not accepted.
  • A USB wired headset and a working webcam are required.
  • Strong ability to use MS Office, Outlook, and online research tools is important.
  • High accuracy and close attention to detail are essential.
  • Good teamwork and collaboration skills are needed.
  • Clear written and spoken English communication skills are required.
  • Applicants should be organized, able to juggle multiple tasks, and manage time well.
  • The role calls for self-direction and the ability to work independently without close supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Input and confirm claim information carefully to maintain accuracy and completeness.
  • Check and refine transcriptions coming from mobile applications to protect data quality.
  • Stay in regular contact with teammates and Content Claims Specialists about claim status and updates.
  • Work within deadlines and organize tasks by priority.
  • Record and upload claim-related details while keeping thorough notes in the system.
  • Act quickly on Quality Assurance feedback and make the required corrections.
  • Prepare and submit daily work logs and time records for every claim handled.
  • Take on other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.
  • Follow company rules and maintain data security standards at all times.
