Role overview

As a Telco Sales Coordinator, you will support the Store Management team in achieving store objectives, with a particular focus on the Communications department. The role is centered on creating a strong performance culture, delivering excellent customer experiences, and helping the department run smoothly and compliantly.

Key duties

  • Help the store meet sales and profitability goals by coaching, supporting, and giving feedback to the Communications team, while keeping customer needs at the heart of every interaction.
  • Maintain the department’s merchandising presentation and ensure standards are consistently upheld.
  • Make sure all Communications Department activities follow relevant compliance and legal requirements, especially those related to safety, in-store procedures, and incident reporting.

Candidate profile

You should be comfortable in a casual, upbeat environment and bring solid retail experience along with strong knowledge of the telco category. Experience in customer service, cash handling, and using EFTPOS, ideally with electronic POS systems, is important. You should also be confident selling retail products and merchandise, able to work both independently and within a team, and capable of staying effective under pressure.
