Role overview

BCMG Insurance Brokers Limited is looking for a dependable and conscientious Technical Assistant to support the general insurance team, with personal lines excluded. The role focuses on helping to manage documentation correctly and consistently so that service standards and operating practices are met. It is a support position that contributes to the company’s customer service commitments.

Qualifications and experience

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised tertiary institution. A qualification covering all classes of insurance business is also required. The ideal candidate should bring at least two years of experience in a similar role. A solid understanding of insurance regulations would be a strong advantage.

  • A polished professional manner and the confidence to communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • Well-developed interpersonal abilities
  • Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Competence with computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
