Your Mission

As a Technical Advisor in Kenya, you will be an integral part of our expanding R&D team, tasked with inspiring customers throughout Kenya and East Africa. Reporting directly to the R&D Director, your role will involve providing advanced technical knowledge, crafting exceptional finished food products, and assisting clients with cutting-edge bakery and patisserie solutions utilizing Puratos' core product offerings. You will collaborate closely with the Sales and R&D departments to sustain current business relationships and uncover new prospects through superior technical support, engaging demonstrations, and pioneering product concepts.

What You Will Do

• Deliver technical demonstrations, training sessions, workshops, and events, offering hands-on assistance to inspire and support our clientele.
• Innovate by developing new finished goods and concepts, staying abreast of global and local market trends, formulating recipes, and customizing product solutions for client meetings.
• Contribute to business expansion by promoting Puratos' key products, nurturing existing client relationships, identifying emerging opportunities, and participating in marketing initiatives.
• Partner with R&D, Sales, and Marketing teams on new product development by contributing technical insights, conducting product evaluations, assisting with product launches, and preparing supporting materials like photos, videos, and concept presentations.
• Maintain a professional and operational Innovation Center, fostering strong connections with customers and building valuable networks.
• Develop a comprehensive recipe database by creating a variety of pastry recipes.
• Provide essential support to all regions within Kenya as required.

What We Expect From You

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of production experience within the food, bakery, or patisserie industry.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Exhibit strong people management skills for effective interaction with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
• Showcase excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
• Be prepared for regular travel within the country to support various regions.
• Adapt and thrive within an international organizational structure.
• Exhibit a proactive, self-starting attitude while also being a collaborative team player.
• Proficiency in using computer and tablet tools is essential.
• Relevant certifications in patisserie are considered an advantage.
