Role overview
Amazon MGM Studios is hiring a Talent Relations Coordinator to support the operational and regional growth of its Talent Relations function across Latin America. The position focuses on creating a smooth, high-quality experience for on-screen and off-screen talent across the full lifecycle of Amazon Originals projects.
In this role, you will act as an operational partner to the Talent Relations team, helping keep workstreams organized, tracking talent-related initiatives, coordinating communication between teams, maintaining dashboards and reports, and supporting talent-facing activities tied to productions, launches, events, and campaigns.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment. This person should be detail-focused, interested in entertainment and talent relationship management, and able to balance several priorities while working with internal groups such as Creative, Production, Marketing, PR, Social, Legal, Awards, and outside talent representatives.
What you'll do
- Assist with the daily operational coordination of Talent Relations projects across multiple titles and territories in Latin America.
- Update and maintain dashboards, trackers, databases, and reporting materials so that teams have clear visibility and alignment.
- Coordinate talent logistics such as schedules, approvals, assets, travel requirements, gifts, and event support alongside internal and external partners.
- Monitor talent contractual commitments and promotional obligations with Production, Marketing, PR, and Business Affairs.
- Organize and share talent information, timelines, status notes, and cross-functional updates.
- Support workflows connected to premieres, junkets, press tours, content shoots, launch events, awards campaigns, and promotional efforts.
- Work with cross-functional teams to make sure talent materials, approvals, and deliverables are tracked and completed on schedule.
- Prepare presentations, reports, recaps, strategic documents, and internal communications tied to Talent Relations performance and activities.
- Track and organize data related to social support, campaign involvement, media opportunities, and regional engagement initiatives.
- Help maintain a polished and consistent “Home for Talent” experience across every touchpoint.
- Look for ways to improve processes, organization, and communication efficiency within the Talent Relations team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an assistant in a studio or production company, or at least 1 year of experience as a creative executive.
- Background in evaluating industry talent and market trends.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and applications.
- Experience managing sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience as an assistant in an unscripted department at an agency, studio, or unscripted production company.
Preferred background
- Understanding of the digital video landscape.
Benefits and compensation
The base pay range for this role in Miami, Florida is USD 71,600 to USD 125,400 per year. Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, the package may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
