About the company

Blount Fine Foods is a family-run business with a long history of making premium fresh prepared foods. For five generations, the company has developed and marketed restaurant-quality items for grocery stores, hot bars, and restaurants nationwide, including grab-and-go soups, mac and cheese, entrées, and products with specialty claims such as organic, gluten-free, and low sodium.

This role is based entirely onsite in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Role overview

The Talent Acquisition Partner will support a growing hiring function by helping source, screen, and place dependable talent for locations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. The position works closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, operations teams, and hiring managers to understand staffing priorities, build candidate pipelines, and help prepare for future hiring demand.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

  • Support workforce planning and end-to-end recruiting while helping strengthen hiring workflows and employer brand efforts.
  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to identify staffing needs and fill open roles effectively.
  • Review resumes against role criteria and keep recruiting records updated in the company database.
  • Run phone and in-person interviews with candidates.
  • Recommend applicants who meet the role requirements after initial screening.
  • Evaluate applications and references carefully to confirm candidate fit.
  • Arrange interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Use company career channels, social platforms, job boards, referrals, agencies, and other sourcing tools to attract candidates.
  • Handle candidate pre-employment screening steps.
  • Support onboarding and new hire orientation activities.
  • Keep applicant and interview records current, use the applicant tracking system, and prepare weekly recruiting reports.
  • Coordinate with temporary staffing agencies when required.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports in Excel.

Experience and education

A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred, though equivalent education and experience may also be considered.

At least 3 years of relevant recruiting experience is required, ideally in manufacturing or distribution.

Experience using applicant tracking systems is needed.

Spanish-English bilingual ability is preferred.

This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $60,000 to $65,000.
