Role overview
The Supply Chain Coordinator will take ownership of the day-to-day procurement, inventory, and fulfilment activities for the Edge Solutions division. This is a practical, execution-focused position working alongside the Supply Chain Manager and Finance team to keep the global hardware supply flow running efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Collect operational requirements, request and compare supplier quotes, and work with Finance to prepare purchase orders and confirm orders.
- Manage the full onboarding process for new vendors, including NDA compliance, due diligence checks, and suitable Incoterms arrangements.
- Serve as the main contact for suppliers by following up on lead times and delivery progress to reduce risk to production.
- Monitor stock availability, carry out regular physical inventory counts, maintain inventory systems, and resolve stock mismatches.
- Coordinate incoming component freight and outgoing shipments with international logistics partners, review customs paperwork, and remove transit delays.
- Prepare and circulate weekly and monthly supply chain reports such as overdue order trackers and supplier performance dashboards.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant has a background in inventory management, logistics coordination, or purchasing support, along with a strong ability to work across teams, especially Finance and Accounts Payable. Experience with freight forwarders, shipping paperwork, manifest checks, and recording serial numbers for sales order shipments will be valuable. Strong spreadsheet skills and clear, professional communication are essential, as is a detail-oriented and proactive working style.
