Studio Assistant

Role Overview

Bagtazo is seeking a part-time studio assistant to support jewelry and hat production, sample creation, and day-to-day studio operations. The position is based in Brooklyn, with tasks that may also involve errands in Manhattan.

What You’ll Do

The assistant will contribute to making jewelry and hats needed to complete orders and develop samples. This role also involves keeping internal records updated, including information on stockists, stylists, press contacts, materials, and vendors.

You may also handle outreach by email for press and stylist communication. Running materials or goods to manufacturers in Manhattan will be part of the job as needed, and transit costs for those trips will be covered.

Who They’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with metal or has strong hands-on skills, and can write clearly with correct grammar and professional email etiquette. Prior customer service experience is helpful, though not mandatory.

Schedule and Work Style

This is a major part-time, on-call position that may include nights and weekends.

Pay

Compensation is $15 per hour.
