Role overview

This is a practical, fast-moving Storeman / Driver position suited to someone dependable, hands-on, and comfortable with variety in their workday. The role is primarily warehouse-based, with around 80% of time spent in-store and about 20% spent driving.

On the warehouse side, the position involves receiving freight, checking cargo into the system, and using a forklift to move goods. You will also prepare shipments for release and hand them over to carriers.

Driving duties are local and short-distance, mainly between Mondiale and the airport, which is roughly a 10-minute trip. In this part of the role, you will collect import air cargo and deliver export freight.

Key duties

• Process freight receipts and releases with the correct paperwork and accurate records
• Carry out day-to-day warehouse tasks and keep the work area tidy and well organised
• Transport airfreight units safely, ensuring they are not damaged during collection or delivery
• Return empty units in a timely manner
• Assist the wider team wherever required to maintain smooth operations

Candidate profile

The employer is looking for someone with prior warehouse experience, a valid Class 4 driver licence, and an active forklift licence. The job also requires a physically capable person who can handle lifting up to 20 kg and someone who is dependable, accurate, and willing to pitch in when needed.

Working arrangement

This is a permanent full-time role offering 40 to 50 hours per week on a rotating roster. Overtime may be available in a busy, high-performing setting.
