Role Summary

The Store Manager will oversee store sales, profitability, day-to-day operations, asset protection, and team management for the assigned territory. The role requires someone who can lead, coach, and energise the team to meet productivity targets and sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive achievement of store sales targets and KPIs while making sure all Damas standards are followed consistently.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Damas products and competitor offerings, and provide high-quality customer service in line with DSCE expectations.
• Ensure 100% stock accuracy and strict compliance with store timings, work schedules, attendance, and grooming rules.
• Keep custody of store keys securely and ensure all security measures, including CCTV and alarms, are properly followed.
• Share sales plans clearly with the team, involve all sales staff in meeting targets, and support customer interactions when needed.
• Understand customer needs, provide correct product and pricing details, and help resolve sales-related issues effectively.
• Maintain store presentation standards, including cleanliness, product displays, security, and overall compliance with DAMAS requirements.
• Check that weighing scales, calculators, diamond testers, and other store equipment are functioning accurately.
• Manage stock control through regular jewellery and certified diamond counts, audit report printing, stock-taking, and detailed jewellery inspections.
• Identify items that need cleaning, polishing, rhodium treatment, or other corrective action, and remove unsuitable items from display or stock.
• Ensure invoicing is accurate and that there are no differences in cash or credit transactions.
• Track repair orders in Navision to ensure timely completion and review customer bookings at least twice each month.
• Follow all store operating procedures in line with Blueprint requirements.
• Keep sufficient packing material available for both branded and non-branded jewellery, store it properly, and escalate shortages immediately.
• Manage petty cash according to Finance guidelines and submit approvals and reports on time.
• Address employee grievances according to HR policy, keep the team motivated, and sustain strong energy levels.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals according to Damas standards.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline and stay aware of current market trends.

Eligibility and Requirements

This opportunity is open only to Saudi nationals.

A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification is preferred.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Candidates should bring a pleasant personality, a positive mindset, strong English communication skills, excellent interpersonal ability, strong negotiation and sales capability, a proactive approach, supervisory and motivational strength, solid product and market understanding, and effective people management skills.
