About the Internship
This internship focuses on software testing for web and mobile products. The selected intern will work closely with business, development, and product teams to understand requirements, design test scenarios, execute tests, log defects, and support release quality. The role also includes API testing, basic database checks, and participation in QA ceremonies.
Responsibilities
- Study business needs and functional specifications to understand what the product should do.
- Draft, review, and run test cases and test scenarios.
- Carry out manual testing for web and mobile applications.
- Test functionality across regression, smoke, and sanity cycles.
- Spot defects, record them clearly, and track them in Jira or a similar tool.
- Work with developers and product teams to get issues resolved.
- Re-check fixes and confirm that reported bugs are closed correctly.
- Perform API validation using Postman and do basic SQL-based database checks.
- Join daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and QA review discussions.
- Prepare test summaries and help ensure the product is ready for release.
Eligibility
Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship. Candidates should be able to begin between 2 July 2026 and 6 August 2026, commit to a 3-month duration, and bring relevant skills and interest. Computer Science Engineering students are eligible, and freshers seeking jobs may also apply.
