Key Duties
The Shift Supervisor will help ensure smooth, efficient restaurant operations and set the tone for excellent service. You’ll lead the team by example, support training and development, and help create a positive customer experience every day.
- Guide the restaurant team to keep daily operations running smoothly
- Model the behaviours and standards that reflect the company’s culture and values
- Support training and coaching so the team delivers strong customer service
- Help recruit new team members and assist with onboarding
- Support people management tasks such as performance reviews and staff rosters
- Make sure food is prepared, displayed, and served to a high standard
- Assist with ordering supplies from different vendors
- Handle administrative tasks including paperwork, banking, cash management, payroll support, and policy review
- Oversee regular cleaning of food-prep areas, dining space, and general restaurant areas
- Support the rollout of marketing promotions
- Help maintain safety and security practices and ensure workplace health and safety training is in place
